My name is Alex Froeter and I'm currently employed by Microsoft as a GIS Judge. I am interested in cartographic design, spatial analysis, and web maps. I love to learn about our world and make it easier for others to do the same. In 2018, I graduated from the University of Montana with a B.A. in Geography and a GIS Certificate. During my time at UM, I received honors and an academic scholarship. Throughout my GIS studies and career, I have volunteered for different geography-related organizations. All of this experience is further detailed in my resume below. When I am not designing or reading maps, I spend my free time cooking, reading, skiing, and traveling.
