Prominent Peaks Seen from the Missoula Valley (2017)

For my university's Advanced Cartographic Design course, we were assigned to create a map of Missoula, Montana for tourists. As the town is surrounded by mountains, I decided to design a guide for what tourists see when they look up. There are countless mountains visible from Missoula, but I determined the most recognizable and prominent peaks. I designed the map in the style of a tourist brochure, with bright colors and a simple artistic hillshade.
